Participate in one of our monthly challenges or join an ongoing challenge and keep reading all year. Earn badges and be entered to win a prize at the end of your challenge. Monthly challenges are open to all readers ages 18+.

Revolutionary Reading 250
Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States by learning about our history! Beginning with the anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride and ending with the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, immerse yourself in reading about the events leading up to the United States becoming an independent nation. Choose titles from our list of recommendations or pick your own! Earn badgesfor every book read, for completing activities and for writing reviews (reviews will be displayed on Beanstack home page). At the end of the Adventure, three lucky winners will win a prize! The more you read, the more likely it will be you!

Sep-Nov 2025: Fall Back in Love with Reading
Fall Back in Love with Reading!
Has life gotten in the way of literature? Is your TBR pile dusty from lack of use? Would you like to do more reading and less scrolling? Join our adventure and fall back in love with reading this fall! Earn badges for time spent reading books of your choice and for completing activities that will get you back in the reading habit. Anyone who earns at least three badges in addition to the registration and completion badges will be entered in our prize drawing at the end of the adventure!
Runs September 3rd – November 30th.
March - May 2025: Flora & Fauna Reading Bingo Adventure
Join our Spring Flora & Fauna Reading Bingo Adventure! Read fiction and nonfiction about plants and animals and complete related activities. Choose books from our list of suggested titles or pick your own! To complete the adventure, earn any three badges in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line. Anyone who completes the adventure will be entered in our prize drawing at the end!

MA Center for the Book 2024 Reading Challenge
The Lincoln Library is proud to be partnering with the Massachusetts Center for the Book on this fun year-long reading challenge!
Here is how the challenge works:

Choose a book that fits the monthly challenge.

After you read, fill out this form to tell us about the book.

Using our NEW submission manager, you will be able to log in and access the entries you’ve logged throughout the year.

Dedicated readers will be invited to a year-end celebration hosted by Mass Center for the Book.

If you read a book in each of the 12 months, you will be entered in a drawing to win 1 of 2 totes filled with books.

New this year! We will be drawing two names on the last day of each month to win a free book! Make sure you get those entries in before the end of the month.

Beginning January 29 you can use Beanstack to track your progress in addition to submitting your books through the Mass Center for the Book website! Log into your Beanstack account and join the Mass Center for the Book 2024 Challenge.
