Internet Access
There are currently four computers in the Reference Room that are available for Internet Access. Two computers are available for young people in the Children’s Room. All computers automatically log out 15 minutes prior to closing, users will receive an on screen alert and should save their work to a thumb drive. Please see our Internet Policy for acceptable use.
WiFi
The Lincoln Library offers WiFi throughout the building. In order to use the library’s WiFi connection you will need to accept the Library’s Internet Policy which will be presented as a splash screen. The Library’s password is posted throughout the building, copies are available at the Front Circulation Desk & at the Reference Desk.
Hot Spot Mobile Internet Access
Connect your Wi-Fi-enabled devices to a Lincoln Public Library hotspot and get high-speed Internet wherever you’re in range of the T-Mobile network.
Word Processing
All computers in the Library offer word processing software.
All Internet and word processing computers are attached to network printers. Printing charge is 15¢/page for black & white and 50¢/page for color.
For security reasons work can not be saved to the computer’s hard drives. You can either save to a thumb drive, or email the document to yourself.
