The Library Art Gallery is hosting artwork from the Lincoln Open Studio from April 28 through May 25.

Lincoln Open Studio: Biennial Exhibit at the Lincoln Public Library

Open Studio is pleased to display some of the paintings we have created over the past few years. We were inspired to paint these by what have caught our eyes and hearts, from our travels, and from a class or workshop. Please join us for a reception on Thursday, May 2, 4-6 PM!

Open Studio

Offered through the Lincoln Parks & Recreation Department, Open Studio is a space to paint with fellow artists. We meet weekly for a three-hour block in a large, light-filled room to work on our own projects. We paint, draw, explore new media, and generally share our love and knowledge of creating images with our hands. Open Studio, which has gathered for over 35 years, welcomes newcomers of all skill levels and media (except turpentine-based oils).
